Michael Jeale and Elizabeth Bristow

Michael Jeale was born in 1598 in Nutfield Surrey and baptized on 10th April 1598 in Nutfield, the son of William Jeale and his wife Isabel Best. He married Elizabeth Bristow on 12th July 1624 in Dorking, Surrey. Michael was aged 26 and Elizabeth was just 15 years old at their marriage. Elizabeth was born in 1609 in Dorking, Surrey, the daughter of Gilbert Bristow by his wife Elizabeth Patching. Michael and Elizabeth had 9 children, Elizabeth, b. 1626, William (the elder) b. 1628, Mary, b. 1631, Michael, b. 1636, Rebecca, b. 1642, Sarah, b. 1644, Abigail, b. 1647, Hannah, b. 1654 and William (the younger) for whom no birth record has been found but he is mentioned in several family documents, and may have been born about 1639 (between Michael and Rebecca) or possibly about 1650 (between Abigail and Hannah)
