This site has been created to bring together into one place, all my research and the vast array of archives and stories from my family tree, and to share with others some of the fascinating discoveries I have made in this absorbing, sometimes moving and sometimes humorous, but down right addictive, quest for my ancestors.

The information contained herein begins with my grandparents. The majority of this research relates to my paternal side (Chapman and Blanchard), my maternal side (Lawrence and Kearns) is somewhat limited due to a lack of documentation, but I hope this will grow in time. Pages relating to later generations are password protected.

All my research is based, as far as possible and unless otherwise stated, on original source material, and all transcriptions and translations are my own work, unless otherwise stated.
